Arizona’s College and Career Ready Standards (AZCCRS) (common core standards information)
Always check directly with the official Arizona and County Homeschooling section to verify information.
Apparent Requirements for all students not in public education:
For students 6-16, a notarized affidavit of intent to homeschool should be submitted to the county superintendent 30 days before starting. Students should be instructed in math, grammar, reading, social studies, and science. When moving to a different county, notify the old county and file a new affidavit with the new county. You should notify the current superintendent within 30 days of stopping homeschooling in that county. You should visit your county’s school district website for specific county details!
